Kalispell Grand Hotel

For a quiet night, request a room away from the street to avoid noise disturbances and get better sleep.

The place was spotless with a super-friendly and amiable staff. The location was excellent and amazing - not far from restaurants with a wine bar across the street and two large grocery stores and a brewery. Meals were great, and there was Brannigan's Pub near the hotel.

The rooms are well-appointed and spotless with large bathrooms. I have not had such an extremely comfy bed at any other accommodation.

The hotel was in a great spot. The staff were super friendly, and the free cookies and popcorn were a nice touch! Just a heads-up, parking can get crowded, so plan accordingly.

It was like a bit of a mess, and not the same charming vibe we expected.

A few things you should know

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown with easy access to shops and dining. The breakfast buffet stands out, with homemade dishes that are a welcome change from ordinary options.

Noise can be a bit of an issue due to traffic from the main street. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to sound while sleeping. The aged air conditioning units can also disrupt your comfort level at times.

The historical features of the building stand out, and I particularly enjoyed the unique breakfast offerings, especially the quiche. Friendly staff added to the cute atmosphere. Unfortunately, the shower water was only lukewarm, and there were issues with the sink draining. The late-night chirping from what seemed to be a smoke alarm was quite disruptive, and I didn't receive a prompt response to my request for assistance.

The historic hotel features an excellent grand staircase and plenty of original woodwork that enhances its character. Located right in downtown, it allows easy walking access to various restaurants and shops, while evening cookies and popcorn add a nice personal touch to the experience.

The room layout feels cramped for two people and two dogs, especially with limited natural light and a view obstructed by nearby AC units.

Warm cookies and popcorn greeted us upon arrival. The breakfast quiche was delicious, and the friendly staff offered helpful tips for exploring. If you're a light sleeper, consider asking for a quieter room away from the street.

This charming place suits me perfectly, offering great amenities like 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable rooms. On my first stay, the staff provided helpful travel tips I still remember. I highly recommend this hotel!

The afternoon cookies and popcorn were a fun bonus, and the lovely historic vibe. Plus, it's amazing location for hiking and exploring local attractions like the Conrad Mansion.

I loved the Grand Hotel in Kalispell! The historical charm really stood out. Entering was like stepping back in time. The lobby had beautiful decor that reflected the era the hotel was built in. The cookies and popcorn in the afternoons were a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade quiche and fresh pastries, made mornings special. Location is prime, right on the main street with easy access to shops and restaurants. My room, the King Studio, was spacious and quiet, giving a cozy feel after a long day exploring. The street noise at night can be bothersome, especially if you're a light sleeper. One room's heater seemed to be stuck, which might be an issue during cold nights. They were friendly and helpful, but the lobby mess was a bit unwelcoming at times. For the price, I expected a bit more soundproofing and perhaps some updates in decor.

The location of this place is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the city center, and it's right by a Northwest Montana History museum - which was thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms have 2 full beds.
